Industrial Floor Booth Design
Floor spray booths feature a modular design. Modularization offers the economy of a standardized line of spray booths, while making available a variety of sizes and configurations to fit a broad range of finishing processes. The three primary modules (working depths, arresting filters, and exhaust chambers) are offered in heights of 7, 8, 10, and 12 feet, and in sixteen widths from 6 to 20 feet. Working depth extensions are available in increments of 2 feet and 3 feet to accommodate most finishing operations fabricated from corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel for protection against rust and corrosion. With proper surface preparation, they can be painted after installation. Fast-Pak booths are shipped within 7 to 10 days after acceptance of the order.

NOTE: Our booths have pre-punched flanged panels with a fold-back and are assembled with Grade 5 nuts and bolts. Many competitor brands require assembly with Tek Screws. Not only is it difficult to get the Tek Screws to be uniform, invariably the panels will not hang square. This is a serious problem when it becomes time to hang booth doors. The combination of keeping Tek Screws uniform and panels square adds 50% to the assembly time.

Global Finishing SolutionsTM Booth Packages Include the Following

  • Quick Ship Program, 5 to 7 days on Fast-Pak series.
  • Detailed mechanical and electrical instructions or drawing.
  • 18 Gauge Pre-Punched Galvanized Panels, Tie-In angles are 14 Gauge.
  • Grade 5 hardware and caulk.
  • Top or Rear Exhaust Outlet.
  • Minimum of one four tube overhead light fixture with 32 watt tubes and inside access. Class 1 Division II, UL Listed.
  • Totally enclosed fan cooled (T.E.F.C.) Motor 208/230/460V/3Ph/60Hz, UL listed.
  • Manometer
  • First Set of Polyester Paint Pocket Filters.
  • Booth conforms to the requirements of: NFPA-33, OSHA, UFC45, and SQAQMD.
  • Installer or Contractor will make certain that all of the electrical wiring, conduit, piping, gas supply, roof penetrations and automatic fire protection systems conform to applicable codes.
  • Fire suppression system is not included with the standard booth but is required by NFPA-33.

Allow 30" to booth height for top exhaust or 30" to booth depth for back exhaust, if fan and motor are located inside building.

Options: Global Finishing SolutionsTM Spray Booth

  • The standard filter media is 20" x 20" paint pocket pads.
  • Side openings for conveyors, with 125 or 150 FPM fan velocity.
  • 4' Side Light Fixtures, Class I, Division II four tube Fixtures, 32 Watt Tube, ETL Listed. 120/277 volt inside access. $318.41 each with panel cut-out.
  • Extension to working depth in 2 & 3' depths, with our without additional overhead lights.
  • Standard fan motor specification is 208/230/460V/3PH/60hz. totally enclosed fan cooled, (T.E.F.C.). Optional single phase as well as explosion proof motors are available at an additional charge.
  • Optional NEMA 1 control panels or component packages including fused disconnect, motor starter, fan and light switches.
  • Optional 3-way air solenoid, with exhaust port muffler, to provide air to the spraygun only when the booth fan is operating. Part number AFS-1173 $295.23.
  • Optional exhaust stack components, see below.
  • Optional air make-up units are available mounted indoors or outdoors, and can be provided as vertical or horizontal units.

Exhaust Stack Packages

These stack packages are set up for top vertical exhaust through the roof, and does not include a roof flashing, with a minimum of 6' of stack above the roof. A flat roof flashing can be ordered as a seperate option, see stack options. These stack arrangements consist of a 3' stack with door with crimped end which uses a connector ring to attach to the fan. Followed by one or more plain 3' stacks with crimped end, and stackhead.
